What is skæp?
skæp is a honey-based daily creatine product in development. Our target format is a 500 ml glass jar containing 600 g of a blend of raw honey, creatine monohydrate and a touch of Himalayan rock salt.
What's in a jar?
Our proposed jar provides 30 servings of 20 g each, targeting 5 g of creatine monohydrate per serving. The target net weight, serving instructions and final label will be confirmed through filling and dose-uniformity tests.
Why honey?
We want a more enjoyable daily ritual than stirring plain creatine powder into water. Honey brings sweetness and naturally occurring carbohydrates; it is not sugar-free.
What does it taste like?
Our product uses honey as its main ingredient. We are still testing the final consistency and flavour of the finished blend.
Will the creatine settle or separate?
This is part of our product-development testing. Before launch, we need to verify that a measured portion contains a consistent dose and that the formula remains suitable throughout its shelf life.
Why 5 g of creatine?
Creatine monohydrate is a well-researched supplement, commonly taken in daily amounts around 3–5 g. We are targeting 5 g per serving and will verify the final product before sale.
How do I measure a serving?
We are validating the finished product's density and consistency before publishing a reliable spoon or scoop measurement. The final packaging will include clear serving instructions.
Do I need to load creatine?
No. A consistent daily dose is a common alternative to a loading phase.
Can I use it if I am pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication?
Please consult a qualified healthcare professional before using a dietary supplement. Honey also contributes sugars to the product.
Launch and availability
Can I buy skæp now?
Not yet. We are testing demand before finalising production. Joining the waitlist is free and does not place an order or take payment.
What will it cost?
Our proposed founder launch price is R499 for one 600 g jar (30 servings). Shipping and final sale terms will be confirmed when orders open.
Where is it made?
We are working with South African manufacturing partners. Final production and packaging arrangements are being confirmed.
